Trust In Psalms-3

How dare you trust otherwise?

Ps 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

Psa 13:5  But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

Mountains are great hideouts. The Mountains of Afghanistan are a testament to the safety afforded many terrorist groups. Those mountains are difficult to access and also not easy to destroy. But it is foolish to run to a mountain when one already is in the arms of the Almighty Father of life. How dare you say to one who has God as is refuge to still escape to the mountains like a bird? In the arms of God we are most secure…more than the mountains of Afghanistan or anywhere else. God is a rock, an everlasting rock; a fortress, a shield or buckler, a high tower. Therefore safety is found in Him. Oh! That I may trust in Him like a bird trusts in the mountain for safety. Oh! That my confidence may be in him regardless of the plot and rage of the wicked ones. Oh! That I may rest completely in him regardless of present danger and overwhelming circumstances.

Our God is the rock of salvation. Trust in His mercy- his help, his care, his kindness, his deliverance…

I will trust in Him.
