Good News of Joy
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord
Luk 2:10-11.
Why is the good news not good news for many people in the world? Is it that people do not need a Savior? Truly, that need is acknowledged. But people seem to want a Savior other than Yeshua Ha-mashiach (Savior and Anointed King). They want a Savior according to their own expectations. But the Messiah of the world is Christ the Lord.
The Good news is about the Salvation of mankind. Why does man need saving? He needs saving from sin. Man is under the bondage of sin since Adam disobeyed God and chose another master for himself. All generations of Adam came under the same bondage until Christ came to free man of that yoke. Sin came by one man and has ruled over all men. Sin is the instrument of Satan to control man as his slave. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God… Rm 3:23. The wages of sin is death… Rom 6:23. Sin brought death, not just physical death but spiritual and eternal death. Sin separates from God and His Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy. Sin is the great divide between God and man.
Man needs a Savior to reconcile him to God and deliver him from the power of sin and death. Jesus Christ is the Savior. He came into the world. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life Jn 3:16. Jesus Christ was crucified, and He died. He knew no sin but became the substitute for man’s sin. Jesus Christ was buried and after three days He was raised from the dead. That is the hope of all who believe in Him. That, though, they may die physically, they shall be raised from the dead when Christ returns to judge the world. For He shall come again, not to die again, but to judge and reign with His Saints.
This is the good news! It is great joy to those who understand.
That Christ the Savior came into the world
That Christ the Savior died
That Christ the Savior was buried and rose again
That Christ the Savior lives
That Christ the Savior will return back for His Saints and to judge the world.

I assure you, if you will do this with the whole of your heart, you will be saved.
